Karma means action. Yoga believes that behavior is the first manifestation of life, such as food and clothing, daily life, speech, behavior and so on. Yogic practice advocates focusing on the inner world and guiding the more perfect behavior through inner spiritual activities. Yoga teachers usually take extreme restraint of asceticism, through good deeds, worship god and discipline, persistent asceticism, pure heart and few desires. They regard a man's best friend and worst enemy as himself, determined by his own conduct. Only complete dedication and conversion can make one's spirit, sentiment and behavior reach the ultimate state of unity with brahman.
